Reverend Father Greengrass gave the invoca- tion followed by Mike Reid who brought Greetin- gs from the Lake Superior Board of Education. The Principal, Mrs. Mulligan congratulated the graduates on their achievement in earning their diplomas. Mr. Ralph Burgess presented awards to stu- dents in first, second, third and fourth year who achieved the highest net speed in their level. Ist Year Cathy Mulligan, 2nd Year Jody McKie, 3rd Year Karen Lamoureux, 4th Year Linda Commisso. ~ The Multi Credit award was presented to Lin- da Commisso for receiving the most credits in four or less years in secondary school. Mr. Houston, vice-principal made the presentation. The award to a student who is deemed to have contributed the most to school during the past years was presented to Maxine Holland by Mr. Fraser. The Kinsmen Club of Schreiber Senelavehis for $I00.00 presented to a deserving fifth year student was won by Kevin Scott. Mr. Joe Figli- omeni made the presentation. Each year the Oddfellow and Rebekah Lodges present a scholarship of $I00.00 to the top fourth year Commercial student. The recipient this year was Linda Commisso. Mr. G. Birch made the presentation. A $I00.00 Scholarship is also awarded to a fifth year student by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Canadian Legion, Branch I09, Schreiber. Mary Bourke was the winner and received her award from Mrs. J. Crook. The Ladies Auxiliary this year is awarding a second scholarship in the amount of $I00.00 to a top fourth year student. This year the winner was David Lamoureux. Mrs. J. Crook al- sc made the presentation. The Catholic Women's League Bursary in the amount. of $I00.00. is presented annually to a deserving fifth year student. Mrs. Mary Huard made the presentation to Holly McKay who was this year's winner. The Women of the Moose, Branch 1426 award a Bursary each year to the fourth year deserv- ing student. The amount of the Bursary is $50.00 was won this year by Mona Caron. The presentation was made by Mrs. Almos. The Women of the Moose, Branch I426 also award a Bursary to the amount of $50.00 to a deserving -fifth year student. The winner this year was Paul Malashewski.
