Identical Twins - 'continued i matching pale green suits, working side by side as on-site information officers for the Royal Bank Plaza twin-tower construction pro- ject in Toronto. The Plaza, due to be opened early in 1976, will be the Ontario Headquarters for the Royal Bank of Canada. The Plaza project team's search for iden- tical twins attracted the 21-year-old Ryerson graduates, who expect to meet thousands of visitors and Torontonians curious about the unique building now rising across from Union Station. "Besides answering questions about the ' building, we're expected to provide helpful information on a wide range of subjects, 4 hm, ' says Jane. The twins took a week of intensive indoc- trination to learn bank history, the routes of the Toronto Transportation Commission, and the locations of the most popular tourist att- ractions in the city. "We've already been asked questions about the CN Tower, the new bank building, and once, we were asked by a young man from Egypt where he could get English lessons," Judy says. ; Their base of operations is a small infor- mation booth immediately east of the Royal York Hotel on Front Street. But they plan to circulate in the vicinity of the Plaza site offering to provide information to people who stop to admire the bronze glass walls of the bank towers or who simply have a look of puzz- lement on their faces. 'The twins were born and raised in Terrace Bay. They plan to return to Ryerson in the fall for further studies. Jane is a graduate in secretarial science while Judy specialized in marketing. 'Both intend to pursue careers next year. They are on the job from 8 a.m. to 6 P.M. Monday through Friday, until the end of August. And how do you tell them apart? That's easy ---- now. The project team stopped trying to guess and provided them with name tags. By the way, we're certain that Judy is the '/ one on the left. Judy and Jane are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Chopty of Terrace Bay. STORK CLUB Born to Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nesbitt of Schreiber, a girl on June I8th, IS975.
