TRIG a JUNE 25, I975 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE I7 HOSPITAL AUXILIARY DONATES TO BUILDING FUND At the June I7th Hospital Board Meeting, Joan Nugent, President of the Auxiliary to the McCausland Hospital, presented Mrs. M. Puttock with a cheque for $2000. for the Buil- ding Fund. The Auxiliary has had a very succ- essful year financially, from September to June, and as a result has been able to contri- bute a total of $4000. to the Building Fund during this short time. Money was raised thr- ough the membership drive, tuck shop, raffles, hospital ball, sewing and knitting. All this was possible due to the efforts of a handful of people. , Attendance at monthly meetings has very of- ten been most discouraging, in spite of a lar- ge membership. The Auxiliary will resume mee- tings in September with the date, time and 'place to be announced in the Terrace Bay News. Come out and do your share for our hospital. New faces and new ideas would be most welcome. Should you wish to be involved this summer, The Tuck Shop is in desperate need of volun- teers to work one hour a day. Unless more help can be obtained, the Auxiliary will be forced te close down the shop for the next two months. If you can help, call Marg Gander at 825-3647.
