ART SHOW The annual show of the Schreiber Art Club held in the Public School, was most successful this year, with 238 paintings, collages, pas- tels, charcoal and other mediums on display. Many other paintings were still in Thunder Bay having been collected for the Show there. In addition to the Club's work was a fine photography exhibit by Tom McGrath, local man, both portraits and scenes. And the number of younger member's work was notable, indicating the growing interest in the Club. The show was attended by 248 visitors com- ing from Terrace Bay, Marathon, Nipigon and Thunder Bay. The Club, this past year, experienced sat- isfaction and confidence in their painting, when after being 'on their own' for many years Confederation College has sponsored them, sen- ding a regular instructor, Mrs. Helen Strick- land, for classes.
