As yet we are playing two ball tournaments until each new golfer familiarizes herself with the game. TERRACE BAY NEWS Following are the results of last Tuesday: Low net - I. Romanuk & N. Evoy; runner-up low net - K. Stefurak & Rhea Beaulieu; Low hole - J. Megraw & J. Burgess; High hole - M. Pluta and K. Fraser. Most of our new golfers are taking advan- tage of the nice sunny days to go out both morning and afternoons to brush up on their games. Keep it up ladies, as practise makes perfect. One lady told me she had raised ten children and had never been as frustrated as trying to hit that little white ball. Once she started comparing the two she finally got a real good drive away and guess what asked to be taken out again this week. So you see frustrations are part of the game but to con- quer that ball is to win, so keep at it. Don't forget Thursday, June I9%th is our eighteen hole Board of Directors Tournament, combined with pin round. June 24th and 26th we start club champion- ship, eighteen holes each night. This is al- so combined with pin round and twilight for the Tuesday night. Anyone wanting to play just twilight will only play nine holes while. the others play through to the eighteen holes. AGUASABON GOLF CLUB Due to rainy weather conditions last Wed- nesday, June IIth, no winners were declared as all scores could not be entered. As a result, all entry fees from June IIth will be put into the June I8th twilight. We would ask that any golfers who did not golf in last weeks twilight, pay .50¢ for this week only. Golfers who did participate in last weeks twilight will pay the regular .25¢ entry fee. Deadline date for Men's Match Play has pass -ed and tournament chairman Scotty Hamilton will be setting up the tournament schedules shortly. The Annual Knights of Columbus Tournament will be staged again this year. Specific date for this tournament will be posted at the Club House. Watch for it and sign in for the tournament. A complete schedule of events for the com- ing year will be posted in next week's News!
