MENTAL RETARDATION EXPLAINED TO CHILDREN Peggy Helmink, an executive member of the Association of the Mentally Retarded visited grade 7 at the Public School and grades I-8 in St. Martin's school and talked on the work and schooling of the mentally retarded. She talked on the training of the handicap- ped children at the Carolyn McMorland School in Marathon and also urged the children to en- ter the poster contest open to grades 7 and 8 in both Schreiber and Terrace Bay. Peggy answered questions after her talk to every class.
