It's the same distance as in other years, but it's being measured in kolometres this years instead of in miles. (A kilometre is approximately 5/8 of a mile). The best way to learn metric is to experience it and that's what the walkers will be do- ing this year as they cover the I6 kolometres into Schreiber and (hopefully) the I6 kolom- etres back to Terrace Bay! The Walk-a-Thon is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th. There will be more information pro- vided in the TERRACE BAY NEWS and over CBQ Radio in the next few weeks. The students are asking for your support again this year in the hope that their walk-a-thon will be as successful as it has been in the past.
