CeW.Le ELECTS I975-76 OFFICERS The general meeting of the Catholic Women's League took place on Sunday, April I3th. The rosary was recited prior to the meeting, for the sick of the parish, Bishop Gallagher and the needy of the world. Mrs. Kennedy presided and Mrs. Ramsay was acting secretary. : Mrs. McBride said that flowers were placed on St. Joseph's Altar and the Mass intended for that day, will be said on May Ist, feast of st. Joseph the Worker. The ladies were reminded of the Spiritual Banquet for Paul VI, during the Holy Year. A letter of thanks was received from Father Giroux for money, to help pay for freight costs on Christmas boxes. Mrs. Belliveau re- ported the film shown during Lent was enjoyed by all. The silver collection will help pay towards the cost of the film. Mrs. Ramsay gave her report on the Arts and Crafts show and said the profit was turned over to the Carnival Committee. : First communion and Graduation gifts were ordered by Mrs. Luke. Expenses will be paid for two delegates attending the C.W.L. convention in Thunder Bay.
