Terrace Bay Ladies defeating Schreiber Ladies 2-1 in a good game with thrills and spills aplenty. Betty Austin scored the 2 goals for Terrace Bay assisted by Olyve Harrison and Sparky Black while Schreiber's lone tally was made by Frankie Caccamo from Lorraine Weaver. Before the start of the second game the Most Valuable Player Award to Cy Brassard was made by Jim Cumming in the form of a jacket. For the third consecutive year the MacDonald foursome curled their way to the Imperial Bank Trophy emblematic of the ments club championship. Team members were: J. Mac- Donald, L. Crockford, D. Marg Duriez was also honoured with a letter stating she is elegible for Star Recorder which will be pre- sented with the pin at a future National Convention. Acad- emy of Friendship Awards went out to Graduate Regent Jackie Calder and Marg Duriez, Marlene Kosticki and Alma MacDonald, who will travel to Hibbing, Minnesota on May 2nd to receive their rings.
