On March 26th daily pulp production was a record 419.09 tons and on March 27th it was 4I7.37 tons. The previous daily production record of 4I6 tons was set on November 7th, 1958. Mrs. Cwen Olsen entertained for her daughter Kristine on Saturday afternoon to celebrate her ninth birthday. Kristine invited sixteen girl friends and a gay time was had with a fish pond and playing games. Stork Club: Born to Mr. and Mrs. E. Zeilke, a daughter on March 23rd. Winners of the 2nd event were the Dene Clancy rink with Evelyn Shivas, Marilyn Chisholm and Donna Josus. Linda Hayes was selected Queen of the Kiwanis Carnival to rule, with the aid of her Princesses, over the many events of the Carnival on March 27. Costume winners were: Russell McBride, Spaceman; Twilla Stevens, Tramp; Lorna Mikus, Sally Turner, Susan Valiquette, Cathy Gorman, Dawn McBride and Jo- anne MoBride.
