PAGE IO TERRACE BAY NEWS MARCH I9, I975 4 i McCAUSLAND HOSPITAL BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT The Board of Directors of The McCausland Hospital would like to thank the Reeves and Councillors of Terrace Bay and Schreiber for passing the following resolution on February 24, 1975. BE IT RESOLVED: WHEREAS: The McCausland Hospital Board requires considerable funds for capital investment within the next two or three years, and THEREAS, all methods of fund raising should be utilized and expedited. THEREFORE: Be it recommended to the Board, that they commence a fund raising drive in the form of soliciation for donations, pledges, and contributions, from home owners, tenants, single persons, business establishments, and industry. AND BE IT RESOLVED: That Schreiber and Terrace Bay Municipal Councils agree to share all the outstanding capital costs of a new hospital facility, that is built under the jurisdiction of The McCausland Hospital Board, on a basis of 75% due from Terrace Bay and 25% due from Schreiber, or whatever assessment ratio is in effect at that time. CARRIED: In light of the above the Board has made arrangements with the fol towing employers fo inaugurate Payroll Deduction as of Aprly ik, 1975, Kimberly-Clark of Canada Ltd. - Holy Angels School Township of Terrace Bay St. Martins School McCausland Hospital Staff Canadian Pacific Rail Birchwood Terrace For those citizens not employed by any of the above firms or local inde- pendant businesses, they may donate directly by cheque (s) to The McCausland Hospital Building Fund.
