The report on District I2A stated: one auxiliary brought a very useful set of books for the homemaker with everything from helpful house- hold hints to a perpetual calander and a cal- orie counter. There was a long discussion on the 2nd Annu- al Spring Ball to be held on May IOth. Many details were discussed and acted upon. It was suggested that we ask the Hospital Board if they would like to take over the res- ponsibility of the Memorial Fund-Building Fund. It was moved by Beth Macadam and seconded by Lil Harris that we publish our meeting dat- es on the Kinette Calander. Marg Gander suggested we write the H.A.A. of Ontario re insurance for our members. There is an urgent need for male volunteers at the hospital. Helen Wallace conducted the installation of officers: President - Joan Nugent; Ist Vice President - Gladys Hamilton; 2nd Vice Preside- nt - Norma Crockford; Recording Secretary - Donna Gorham; Corresponding Secretary - Lillian Christie; Treasurer - Alice Farrow. Joan then read a thought provoking artic- le entitled: "Disappearing Ladies". The Annual reports were submitted and app- roved., . The following ladies offered to convene these committees: Marj Stephen - Membership; Marg Gander - Tuck Shop; Donna Gorham - Pub- Yicity. We would like to note that we are still collecting Dominion Store Slips and rags and would appreciate these from anyone. They could be turned in to any auxiliary member. It was moved by Beth Macadam and seconded by Bonnie Dye that the Tuck Shop transfer $900. to the auxiliary account. The next meeting will be held in the Library of St. Martin School, Terrace Bay, on Monday, March I7th at 8 p.m. LADIES AFTERNOON BOWLING LEAGUE Standings as of March 5th: Ist Place Pendulums 88 Points 2nd Place Krazy Kats 80% Points 3rd Place High Rollers 79 Points 4th Place Hippies 58% Points Games Over 200 This Week: - M.
