TO GUIDES AND BROWNIES NEWS The monthly meeting of the Local Association to Guides and Brownies was held February 24th in the Community Church basement with I0 mem-- bers present. President, Mrs. C. Cvitkovich opened the meeting with the Guide Prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were read by Mrs. Alyward. Plans for the Mother & Daughter banquet were finalized. Mrs. Saranpaa, Brownie Leader of Pack. 1:ig compiling the history of Brownies and Guides in Terrace Bay. If anyone has pictures or records she would greatly appreciate the use of them. The "Guiding on the Move" buttons are avail -able to everyone. They may be purchased from either Guides or Brownies of packs for 26¢. Plans were begun for the Easter Bake Sale which will probably be held on Saturday, March 29th, The meeting was adjourned and a delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Cotton and Mrs. I. Fournier. ~ SOCIAL SPECTRUM Visiting with John and Fred Knight for the weekend were their daughter Ellen, her husband Robert Rotmark and daughter Kyla from Gerald- ton. Leslie Rhae Thompson is home from Cambrian College, Sudbury visiting with her parents Verl and Dorothy Thompson. Louise Brooks is home from George Brown Coll -ege visiting with Helen and Jack, her parents. Visiting with Mary and Peter Vanderkam for the weekend from Thunder Bay were Anne and Art Vanderberg. Home for a week with Mary and Peter were Alex Vanderkam and a friend Brian Hunter from Waterloo University. Susie Scott is home visiting her Parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Bruce Scott. Mr. Curtis Desrosiers is home with his par- ents Mr. and Mrs. Dave Desrosiers.
