PAGE 16 TERRACE BAY NEWS MARCH 5, I975 { SCOTT-SPADONI VOWS EXCHANGED -- Photo by Frank Commisso Red and white carnations decorated the altar of Holy Angel's Roman Catholic Church, Schreiber on November 2nd, I974 at 3 p.m. when Lola Elizabeth Scott and Stanley Edward Spadoni exchanged their wedding vows. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Scott and the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Spadoni, all of Schreiber. Rev. Father Meyer officiated, Miss Brenda Cebrario was organist and Mr. Giovani Cebrar- io, soloist. Altar boys were Danny Spadoni, brother of the groom and Paul Moorey. Escorted down the isle by her father, the bride was lovely in a satin gown with george- tte overlay, high ruffled collar, sheer full sleeves gathered to button cuffs, full skirt from the empire waist, deep ruffled hem, and the dress was trimmed with orange blossom lace. The bride's veil was full and floor leng- th, trimmed with lace. She carried a cascade of red carnations with trailing white ribbons and miniature red roses. Maid of honour, Miss Billie Weaver and Bridesmaids, Miss Debbie Cook and Miss Joyce Richardson were gowned alike in floor length red polyester knit with empire waist, high neck and sleeveless. They wore raschel knit short jackets, shirred at the waist with elastic. They carried nosegays of candy stri-i pe red and white carnations accented with red rosettes and white ribbons. The best Man was Mr. Cosimo Speziale, Gro- omsmen were Bob Webb, Tonny Commisso and ush- ers were Kevin Scott, brothers of the bride and Rick Spadoni, brother of the groom. For a reception held at Lake Superior High School in Schreiber the bride's mother recei- ved wearing a dress of autumn shades of brown, rust and beige accented with an empire waist, gored full skirt and sleeveless. She wore a corsage of yellow carnations, tipped with orange. The groom's mother. received in a dress of french blue with long sleeves, roll- ed collar with flip tie neckline. Her cor- sage was of red sweetheart roses on silver background. h Mr. Bill Scott, brother of the bride gave © the toast to the bride. Servitors for the reception were Paula Gauthier, Elda and Max- ine Holland, Mrs. Doris Gauthier, Mrs. A. 5 Jacques, Mrs. C. Valentino and Mrs. Pat Moore. For a honeymoon to the Barbados the bride donned a red pant suit and floppy brimmed hat \ and back accessories. Her corsage was a white orchid. : The bride's wedding dress, veil and trave- lling suit were all made by Mrs. R. Maggio of Schreiber. Previous to her wedding the bride was en- tertained at a kitchen shower at the home of Mrs. Thersa Stortini and a shower at the Sch- reiber Town Hall. The groom was entertained at a stag in the Schreiber Town Hall. Prior to the reception, Mrs. Rosa Spadoni, great aunt of the groom entertained the wedding party and families with a cocktail party at her home in Schreiber. Out of town guests were - Mr. and Mrs. Bill Scott & Jenni, Red Rock; Miss Anna Fummerton, Kingston; Mr. J.P. Tessier, Brockville; Mr. & Mrs. John Stortini & Kristine, Mr. Bill Webb, Miss Janice Wiznuck, Doris Lehto, Bob Curtis, Mike McKenna and Dale Randa, Sault Ste. Marie; Mrs. Donna Crawford, Winnipeg; Miss Pat Quin- ton, Waterloo; Miss Leslie Thompson, Sudbury; Mr. Paul Caccamo, Waterloo; Mr. David Duncan, Wawa; Mr. & Mrs. Luigi Arnella, Britt; Mr. & Mrs. D.J.
