A student will be sponsored to the I4th Ann- ual Kin Hi Leadership Program at Quetico Centre a continuing education and conference centre, I00 miles west of Thunder Bay, near Atikokan. The Kin Hi Leadership Course for young peo- ple was designed by the Kinsmen Clubs of North- western Ontario and Manitoba and Quetico Centre Its objective is to offer an opportunity for young people to have the kind of learning ex- perience which will help them develop insight into democratic leadership, learn leadership skills, gain an understanding of the demands on a citizen in a democracy, and contribute to the personal growth of the participant. Stu- dents are also helped to relate the learning to "back home" activities in youth and community service groups in which they are or may become involved. A group of young people gather annually for two weeks of intensive study under direction of skilled leaders.
