Todesco was a business visitor to Thunder Bay last week. LADIES ENTERTAIN MRS. TF. SEPPALA The Ladies of Rossport entertained Mrs. T. F. Seppala, the former Esther Anderson at a buffet supper in the community hall Wednesday evening. Mrs. Seppala leaves shortly to re- side in Thunder Bay. She was born and raised in Rossport and resided there all her life except when attending high school in Nipigon and nursing at the Lakehead, being a graduate of St. Joseph's General Hospital School of Nursing. Upon entering the hall Mrs. Eugene Gerow pinned a pink carnation corsage on Mrs. Sepp- ala and Mrs. Mary Legault presented her with an album of pictures of her growing up in Rossport, friends and neighbours and during her nursing career, as a souvenier. Mrs. Josephine Kenney and Mrs. Edith Hubel- it on behalf of the village ladies presented Mrs. Seppala with a set of T.V. tables, an electric clock and a clay casserole baker. and a Happy New Year from me to you with my thanks for letting me serve you. Happy Holidays to my friends! Joe's Hairgrooming Shop Mrs. Kenney said the Rossportites regret- ed losing Mrs. Seppala from their midst and wished her every success and happiness in her new home. The buffet table was covered with an embro- idered linen cloth and centered witha cryst- al bowl of pale pink roses and pink candles in candelabra and the hall was decorated with colourful streamers for the occasion. Those present were Mrs. Seppala's daughter Lorraine, Aunt Mrs. George Birch of Schreiber; school friends Margaret McKenna and Della Moore of Schreiber; cousin, Gail Moore of Terrace Bay; Mrs. R. Bouchard, Mrs. Geo. Goodchild, Mrs. Eugene Gerow, Mrs. Len Ibey, Mrs. Herb Leg-. ault, Mrs. C.
