The possibility of the large trophies being put on display with a small trophy being awarded to the winners. Mr. Farrow who has been elected District Director gave reports on meetings he attended in Rainy River and Toronto. He then presented the Trillium Awards to Mr. and Mrs. M. Churney and Mr. and Mrs. A. Connors of Terrace Bay; Mr. and Mrs. J. LeBlanc and Mr. and Mrs. E. Holmes of Schreiber. The President, Hilda Hiebert gave a short but inspiring address on "An Aid to Good Gar- dening". She then thanked all committees for work well done. Mr. G. Birch gave a report from the nomin- ating committee electing for the I975 year: President - Mrs. Hiebert; Ist Vice-~Pres. - Mr. Landry; 2nd Vice-Pres. - Mr. Buhrmann; Secre- tary - Mrs. Roberts; Treasurer - Mrs. Steen. I year Directors =~ Mr. Gerlach, Mr. Hermes, Mr. Steen, Mrs. Husband; 2 year Directors =- Mrs. Doig, Mrs. McKenzie, Mrs. Hickerson, Mr. Dorland, Mr. Birch. A draw for door prizes followed. Delight- ful talks were given by I. Steen on how to grow house plants and by A. Farrow on lawn care. A move for adjournment was made and lunch was served by Mrs. Steen and Mrs. Hiebert. NEW OFFICERS FOR LEGION AUXILIARY President S. Gusul chaired the November meeting with secretary, Mrs. C. Mercier reading the minutes, and treasurer, Mrs. J. Megraw giving the financial report. After various reports were given, a unani- mous decision was made to purchase membership for auxiliary widows for the coming year. A letter of appreciation was read from the Bran- ch President Forbes Cruickshank thanking the Auxiliary for their generous donation. A letter from the hospital board was also recei- ved outlining their plans for the future hos- pital. Conveners for November dinners were - Mesdames Fournier, Rochon, Cvitkovich and Duriez. : Another unanimous vote went to Mrs. J. Megraw for all proceeds from the hockey pool to go towards the McCausland Hospital. Mrs. Me- graw will put an ad in the Terrace Bay News re- garding same. A Home Bingo which will be look- ed after by Addie Beaulieau will commence after the new year, with proceeds also to Jo. to the hospital. Poppy convener, Mrs. V.. Thorpe gave a succ- essful report on the poppy drive.
