PAGE 6 TERRACE BAY NEWS™ NOVEMBER 20, I974 TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT LEVEL I REFEREES CLINIC: The opportunity has become available for anyone interested to take a Level I Referees Clinic in Terrace Bay on November 30th, Decem-- ber Ist, only if sufficient persons show an interest in taking the Clinic. The Level I Clinic is open to anyone and deals with the basics of being a Referee or Linesman. In addition, sessions will be held on rule interpretation. Mr. George Tremblay of Marathon is available to conduct the Clinic Cost of the Clinic is $I.00. Leave your name with either Len Pope, President of Minor Hock- ey or the Recreation Office. 1f insufficient response is received, the Level I Clinic will be cancelled. OLDTIMERS HOCKEY SESSIONS: A reminder that ice time is being made av- ailable every Wednesday evening from IO-II pm for those who wish to play "pick-up" hockey. This is very unstructured and gives you the opportunity to get in some exercise and play with a .sponge puck. SO far, eight names have been called into the Recreation Office. 1f you are hot presently in a competitive hockey league and would welcome this type of hockey, we would like to hear from you.
