The daily and monthly paid employees will receive an increase based closely on the 20¢ an hour increase given the other em- ployees. Council has set November 30th as a tenta- tive date for their annual Christmas party. Councillor Megraw reported on the curb work being done on Lakeview Drive. If the weather stays good this work may be. completed in about two weeks. He also gave a report on the Water and Was- te Disposal Seminar he attended in Thunder Bay. Councillor Hale reported the work at the cemetery was now completed. Councillor Hale also informed council that with the resigna- tion of Ken MacLeod as Library Chairman and Mrs. C. Persson as Librarian a meeting of the Library Board was being held the following evening and he would report back to Council. Councillor Helmink reported a I3% increase in the cost of re-tiling the Recreation Centre She also asked that the .rent negotiations with the Curling Club be delayed until the 75-76 season due to last years rate increase and the recent Recreation Centre membership increase. This motion was passed. Reeve Bray presented a bill from W. Kurylo re work done on the bowling alleys. Council considered this a minor part of operation and maintenance and the expense should be part of operating costs. Reeve Bray also talked on the preliminary draft plan of the proposed area of the lot structure for a trailer park and new townsite. Council is waiting for approval of these plans and a joint meeting with Kimberly-Clark, the planning committee and Council is hoped to be held early this week. Your loss is your gain.
