The minutes of the previous meeting were approved and a discussion was held on the sale of lots. Full payment of a lot must be made at the time of purchase. Those who have al- ready made application for a certain lot will be contacted by earliest date of application. Dr. M. Bloom wrote council she will be commencing dental practice in Terrace Bay effective October 21st on a six months trial run. Council granted permission for the Grade 8 class of St. Martin's school to hold a bottle drive on January II, I975. The Ministry of Housing wrote asking for more material on proposed housing expansion as communities under 5,000 population are entitl- ed to assistance from the Ministry. Barnett~McQueen wrote council thanking Bill Hanley and his staff for their co-oper- ation during their work at Birchwood Terrace. Information was received from the Ministry of the Environment re a Waste Disposal Seminar being held November I3th - I5th. Ken MacLeod wrote resigning as Chairman of the Library Board due to ill health.
