It is important to note that the arena schedule is subject to unavoidable change from time to time. The official schedule is posted at the entrance of the Arena. Many thanks to the Terrace Bay News for allowing the schedule to be posted on a weekly basis. The schedule certainly assists alot of people who plan to use the arena. NEW PROGRAMMES ----- PLEASE READ! Starting immediately the Recreation Office will accept names of individuals who may be interested in one or more of the following programmes. It is important to point out that this is simply an interest survey. The amount of names received by the Recreation Office will determine if the programme will take place. The programmes are as follows: Photography Course (new year); Ceramics Cour- se; Upholstery Course (new year); Cross Coun- try Skiing Clinic, ONTARIO WINTER GAMES: The Recreation Office has now received in- formation for all types of sports which will be held in Thunder Bay from December 27th to 30th. Sports included are as follows: Badmin- ton, Basketball (Women's & Men's), Boxing, Curling, Fencing, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Weight lifting, Wrestling. Regional tournaments have been scheduled and if you are interested in more information call the Recreation Office at 825-3542. COMING EVENTS: Thursday, October 3Ist - Terrace Bay Art Club, 8 p.m., large meeting room, Recreation Centre. November Ist, 2nd and 3rd - Terrace Bay Curl- ing Club, "Wine & Cheese" Bonspiel. Successful applicant will be responsible for the Library Resource Centers in St. Martin School, Terrace Bay and Holy Angels School, Schreiber. He/she will serve as part of the teaching teams in both schools for program planning and development in addition to regular |ib- rary duties.
