Douglas District Deputy of the Knighe- ts of Columbus, installed a new slate of officers for St. Edwards Council 3554 Knights of Columbus, on Sunday, Oct. 5th. Officers installed were: R. Sinotte, B. Lapenskie, Raoul Fournier, A. Gauthier, Ed Borutski, L. Bourguignon, Art Beaulieu, A, Stortini, G. Dashkewytoh, L.V. Bourke, D., MoGuire and S, Chicoine. Thunder Bay TV Station CKPR have sent word that their camera orew and inter- viewers will be in Terrace Bay this Thursday to prepare a Documentary Film which will be shown on their Town Talk series the week of November 9rd to 7th, I969. Mr. Neil Cornthwaite rec- ently forwarded pari of an October edition of the North Bay Nugget which included a Mattaws supplment. On the beck page there is a photo of Mrs. A. Hartman, editor of the" Castetnered Mattawa News. Mrs. Hartman, is also. a former Terrace Bay resident Friends from Schreiber and Terrace Bay called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Stitt on October Ilth, the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary, with good wishes and gifts. I YEAR ACD, Vol. I6, No. 42 October 24th, I973. Last weeks Duplicate Bridge winners were: North- South, Ed Kennedy and Carl van Eeden; East-West, Alice Chepelsky and Edna Remsay. Mrs, Glorie Miller, Noble Grand, Ruby Rebekah Lodge, No. 279, Schreiber, present- ed a cheque for $405, to V. Mazzone, Hospital Administr- ator to be used to purchase a stainless steel orib for the nursery at MoCauslend Hospital. All donations are greatly appreciated by everyone connected with the hospital. Due to vandalism the tri- al fopen 24 hours a day' for the lobby has ended at the Schreiber Post Office.
