ONTARIO WINTER GAMES - QUALIFYING TOURNAMENTS: With the Ontario Winter Games being staged in the city of Thunder Bay from December 27th to 30th, the Recreation Office is now start- ing to receive information on qualifying tour- naments regarding the various sports which will be held. Thus far, details have been re- ceived on Badminton, and the Terrace Bay Adult Badminton Club now has this information. If you are interested in knowing more about the sport you are involved in, call us at 825-3542 and we can get you the information. MINOR HOCKEY REGISTRATION - THIS THURSDAY: Forms have been circulated through all the schools. More are available at the Recreation Office. Registration will actually take place from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Recreation Centre this Thursday, October 24th. PARENTS .... why not accompany your child when he registers for hockey this year. IMPORTANT RINGETTE MEETING: In order to get the Girls Ringette Program off the ground, an important open meeting willl be held on Monday, October 28th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Recreation Centre. Here is an exciting winter sport for Girls, which requires enough interested adults to form an executive and help organize the pro- gram for the girls. Last year an attempt was made to form a Terrace Bay Ringette Association.
