ONTARIO WINTER GAMES - QUALIFYING TOURNAMENTS: With the Ontario Winter Games being staged in the city of Thunder Bay from December 27th to 30th, the Recreation Office is now start- ing to receive information on qualifying tour- naments regarding the various sports which will be held. Thus far, details have been re- ceived on Badminton, and the Terrace Bay Adult Badminton Club now has this information. MINOR HOCKEY REGISTRATION - THIS THURSDAY: Forms have been circulated through all the schools. More are available at the Recreation Office. Registration will actually take place from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Recreation Centre this Thursday, October 24th. Here is an exciting winter sport for Girls, which requires enough interested adults to form an executive and help organize the pro- gram for the girls. Last year an attempt was made to form a Terrace Bay Ringette Association.
