Shelby Kirkpatrick has returned for her second year to Bishop Strachan College in Tor- onto. Before he left for his new home in Thunder Bay South, George Duncan was presented with a gift from his old friends and neighbours on Columbia Street, the presentation made by Mrs. Joe Campbell and Mrs. Nelson Smith, with a ho- st of good wishes and their regrets in losing George from Schreiber. Jack Webber, of Toronto, spent last week in Schreiber, visiting friends of his school days Mrs. Bernice Jacomb has returned home after a long visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Briggs (her sister Toots) in Spokane, Wash. Mrs. Annie West has returned to Thunder Bay after visiting relations and friends in Schreiber. The Schreiber Minor Hockey Association has elected the following officers for this seas- on: Fred Harness, president; Rod Bryson, vice- president; Mrs. Betty Huard, secretary; Frank McKenna, treasurer; Executive - R.B. Spadoni, Ivan Martin and Ted Wilson. Bob Ryan has returned in his second year, to study at the Coastguard College, Sydney,N.S. Mrs. Della Moore has gone to Medicine Hat where her brother-in-law, Alfred is ill.
