NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO MUNICIPAL RECREATION ~ ASSOCIATIONS CONFERENCE On October 4, 5, and 6th, the second annu- al Northwestern Ontario Municipal Recreation Associations Conference will be held at the ° Airlane Motor Hotel in Thunder Bay. This con- ference is designed to better inform people living in communities in Northwestern Ontario of the developments of recreation province- wide. Sessions will be held for Recreation Comm--- ittee members, people involved in programming for the elderly, grants available from the government, etc. If you are interested in attending this conference be sure to call the Recreation Office at 825-3542 for more details TENNIS COURT FENCING The Terrace Bay Recreation Committee is pl- eased to announce that another local group have contributed their support to the install- ation of the tennis court fencing. The Terr- ace Bay Youth Group advised the committee of their intentions this past week. In total the Recreation Department has re- ceived support from the Kinsmen Club of Terr- ace Bay, the Terrace Bay Youth Group, and nine other interested persons who volunteered their time.
