A motion was given a first, second and third reading and finally passed, to submit questions to the electors under Section 73 (I) of the Liquor Licence Act, at the Municipal elections in December, regarding the sale of liquor under a Dining Lounge licence, and under a Lounge licence. KIMBERLY-CLARK ENGINEERING TRADE CREWS ACHIEVE ONE FULL ACCIDENT FREE YEAR On August 2Ist, the Engineering Trades Group reached one full year without experienc- ing a Lost Time Accident. In recognition of this achievement, a draw was held and seven merchandise prizes were awarded, plus a grand prize of a helicopter trip for three to visit the Woodlands operations. The grand prize was won by S. Reid, P. Plu- ta, and F. McColeman. This trip took place on August 27th, departing from the mill at 9:30 a.m. The first landing was at Camp 59 where the group viewed the cutting operations, skid- ding, scaling, etc. From there, it was off to Longlac and after a brief tour of the townsite were treated to dinner in the Cedar Room, acc- ompanied by Don Penna, Production Manager, Woodlands. f Following dinner, they were briefed on the proposed operations in the Nakina area, work- being carried out at the tree nursery, and various other phases of the Woodlands opera- tion. They then toured the Weldwood Plywood Plant the flakeboard mill, the saw mill and the plan -er mill. From here, it was back down over LongLake, following the river system back to Terrace Bay. Before landing there was a fly- over of the townsite and mill areas arriving back to the mill at 4:20 p.m. In addition the following won merchandise prizes, C. Hale, D. Luke, G. Nugent, V. Thorpe H.
