Valerie Larson has left to attend school at the Toronto Institute of Medical Technology where she will enter the Medical Lab Technican course. dkdekdddkdhkdhkdhkhhkdhkdkhkdkkkk TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT The Terrace Bay Police Department reports a total of 23 occurrences investigated during the week. As a result of investigations on August 28 one Terrace Bay man and one Schreiber man were charged with possession of stolen property. A total of twelve charges were laid and at this time property in access of $3000. was re- # covered. Two minor thefts were reported during the week and are under investigation. Eight motor vehicles were safety checked with five warnings being. issued. Three char- ges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act. The last sitting of Provincial Court at Terrace Bay with Judge Sargent presiding saw Trent Desaulniers and Detlef Trapp pleading not guilty to a charge of racing with a motor vehicle. After hearing prosecution evidence Judge Sargent found them both not guilty stat- ing that the prosecution had failed to prove that an actual race was in progress.
