AUGUST 28, 1974 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE I9 CRUPI-VENEZIANO VOWS EXCHANGED - Photo by Frank Commisso Pink carnations adorned the altar in Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church on July 20th for the wedding of Peter Crupi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rocco Crupi of Italy and Angelina Venezi- ano, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Veneziano of Schreiber. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Father Feely. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She chose a floor length gown of nylon crepe, featuring long sleeves and a high neck- line. The hemline and empire waistline were trimmed with white satin ribbdén and lace. Her full length veil was attached to a white floppy picture hat. She carried a bouquet of pink baby roses, white daisies and lily of the vall- Sey. Matron of Honour, Mrs. Rosetta Diano, bride- smaids Maria Veneziano (sister of the bride), Rosann Speziale (cousin of the bride) and flow- er girl Lucianna Trichilo (cousin of the bride)|- were gowned alike in floor length dresses of mint green crepe. They wore white floppy hats and carried bouquets of white and pink daisies. Cosimo Diano was best man with Tony Serrao (cousin of the bride) and Joe Commisso as groomsmen. The ring bearer was Reno Venezi- ano (brother of the bride). Guests were ushered into the church by Mario Veneziano and Tony Aiuto. At a reception and dinner held in the Moose Hall the Toast to the Bride was made by Frank Speziale (uncle of the bride) and Joe Speziale (also uncle of the bride) was M.C. The bride's mother received in a two piece pink floor length gown trimmed with white lace. She wore a corsage of white carnations. The groom's aunt, Sara Diano who represented the groom's mother chose a floor length floral gown in shades of pink, blue and orange and wore a pink carnation corsage. For travelling, the bride donned a two piece blue pant suit with white accessories. Among the guests from out of town attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Veneziano and Mario, Alda Talese, Philadelphia; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Diano, Tony Aiuto, Calgary; Peter Trichilo, Toronto; Mrs. Concetta Serrao, Tony Serrao, Mr. and Mrs. Luigi Sgarbossa, Mr. and Mrs. C. Bordignon, all of Thunder Bay; Mr. and Mrs. DeStefano, Marathon. Prior to their marriage the bride was en- tertained at a community shower held in the Catholic Parish centre with Mrs. Cosimo Diano, Miss Maria Veneziano and Miss Rosann Speziale as hostesses and the groom at a stag hosted by Cosimo Diano and Joe Commisso.
