WOMEN OF THE MOOSE NEWS At the Chapter night meeting of the Women of the Moose, the executive committee suggested holding a penny auction following the regular " meeting which will be held on Wednesday, August 21st. Minutes of the last meeting were adopted as read and financial statement was given. Thank you cards were read from Anne Todesco Carol Dakin, Brian Paulsen and Mark Dashkewyt- ch. BA letter of thanks was read from Mr. Vic- tor Mazzone thanking the Academy of Friendship committee for their donation of a stainless steel water jug and tray set for the hospital. Members were in favor of holding a bingo on the afternoon of September 2nd, Labour Day. It was reported that all three used stoves were sold. Pitchers and bowls were ordered from the Buckingham Plastics Co. A joint executive meeting to be held with the men to make plans for the Past Governor's Ball which will take place on September 27th. The meeting was chaired by Senior Regent Sadie Benko. Following adjournment, lunch was served by the executive committee. TO THE PEOPLE AT TERRACE BAY: This brings you my special thanks for the work which the Terrace Bay team did in making our Directors' meeting early last week an out- standing success. The best evidence of how our Directors and those traveling with the Directors reacted to your planning and hospi- tality is the decision which was made at the conclusion of the Board meeting. : I very much enjoyed the luncheon which followed the meeting, and it was a pleasure to meet all the people who participated.
