TERRACE BAY RECREATION NEWS PARENT & PEE WEE SWIM PROGRAMME : The Terrace Bay Recreation Department is in- troducing a new programme this year involving children from one year of age to kindergarten. This particular programme, "Parent and Pee Wee" will be held in the Beginners Pool in our swim- ming complex. The parent must accompany the child to his or her classes. In the event a parent cannot accompany the child, a guardian will be permitted to do so. The purpose of the parent accompaning the child is not to teach or instruct the child, but rather guide help and - encourage (train) their child as he or she learns. There will be two swimming sessions, one July 8th - July 3I, the second August Ist - August 30th. The in- structor for the July sess- ion is Joan Persson, and the August instructor Wendy McMillan. A reminder that no more swimming registrations will be accepted. If you missed out on this session there will be another registration in the latter part of July, for the August session. Swim classes and times for July will be posted at the Pool this week. Parents! - There are still quite a few discs at the Recreation Office to be picked up. Remember your child cannot come swimm~ ing unless a CURRENT disc is presented (pale blue).
