PAGE 9 GRADUATES OF ADVANCED ELECTRICAL TRAINING COURSE ATTEND DINNER Kimberly-Clark of Canada sponsored a gradua- tion dinner for eight Electricians, who comple- ted a two year Company sponsored Advanced Elec- trical Training Course; the dinner was held in the Legion Hall in Terrace Bay on May 29, I974. The course was held in Terrace Bay and con- sisted of four semesters. It was truly a co- operative effort on the part of Kimberly-Clark, the I.B.E.W. Union, Local I86I, and Confedera- tion College. The course was approved as an Ontario Government "Training in Industry", pro- gram with the result that costs were shared by the government, the Company, and the course members. Classes were held in the High School every second week-end on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings over the two year period. Guests at the graduation dinner were Dan Ropchan and Jim Wheeler from Confederation Col-| lege who both played a part in the course, Jim Wheeler as instructor. G.W. Dickson was a guest also and as an Electrical Engineer with the Company made a significant contribution especially in assisting the course members any er, S. Zwaresh, R. Harris, R. Mendelin, R. Fournier, W. Young and P. Stuart. Unfortun-- ately due to a bereavement in the family P. Stuart could not be present.
