JUNIOR BADMINTON TOURNAMENT: In the Badminton tournament held on Saturday at the High School, the results were as follows Girls singles -~ Ist-D. Almos and 2nd K. Cvit- kovich; Girls doubles - Ist-C. Kennedy and L. - Desrosiers and 2nd P. Dakin and C. Morriseau; Boy's singles = Ist-T. Trapp and 2nd T. Velan- off; Boy's doubles - Ist G. McDonald and G. Chepelsky, and 2nd - T. Trapp and D. Gorham; Mixed doubles =~ Ist-J. Moher and T. Velanoff and 2nd - I. Bergeron and G. Chepelsky. These people will be Terrace Bay's represen- tatives at the North Shore Badminton Tournament on May 4th in Manitouwadge. RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB MEETING: A meeting of those interested in forming a Rifle and Pistol Club was held on Thursday, March 28th. A brief discussion was held on the location of the site and with which associ- ation the club will be affiliated. A meeting has been called for Thursday, April IIth, at 7:00 p.m. in the large meeting room to report back on the findings. This meeting will be "open to the public". * SENIOR BADMINTON TOURNAMENT: In Marathon this coming weekend, our local adult Badminton Club will be competing against other towns in the annual North Shore Tourna- ment. We are hopeful this team will be able to capture some trophies and we offer them the best of luck. ? j GIRLS' RINGETTE THIS SUNDAY: Plans are in the making for two exhibition games with Manitouwadge Junior and Senior girls The games are scheduled as follows: Juniors at 1:00 p.m. and Seniors at 2:I5 p.m. It is hop- ed you will drop in to see the growing sport and cheer our girls on. Remember - Girls' Ringette this Sunday in the Terrace Bay Arena. This past weekend the Terrace Bay Girls split four games. The Juniors won one and lost one; the Senior duplicated this action.
