Darwin Smith, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Neenah, Wisconsin, and party 2 "arrived in Terrace Bay on February I3th in the Company's Citation Jet, landing on the newly made air strip. They visited with Mill personnel and then flew to Longlac in a JetRanger Helicopter, visiting with Woodlands personnel. The party returned to Terrace Bay, and then to Neenah the same afternoon. KING AND QUEEN CROWNED AT FUN SPIEL The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 223, Terrace Bay, held their annual Fun-time Curl- ing bonspiel last weekend, with many non-curl- ers and once-a-year curlers taking part. The evening before, the King and Queen, who reigned over the proceedings, were chosen- from among the ranks. They were Ted Velanoff and Peggy Regis. Saturday morning at 2 o'clock, the first rock was thrown, and some good curling was seen. 2 The Lorne MacKenzie rink emerged victorious with Stella Gusul, Bill Moon and Evelyn Falzet ta sharing the honours. Runners-up were Henry Duriez, Joyce Mercier, John Teniuk and Peggy Regis. Third were Ron Seidel, D. MacKenzie, Leon Theriault and Marion Pluta. continued page 2
