PAGE 4 TERRACE BAY NEWS OCTOBER I7, I973 Board Meeting - continued ........ Presently the Board is working with Provincial authorities in establishing another home at Térrace Bay which will be known as Birchwood Terrace. This home will be officially opened in the spring of 1974. Mr. Symington commented that with the new legislation, the Board will change considerably in that two members will be appointed by the Ministry and five members by the participating municipalities and his wish was that the appointed members will have as their prime interest Senior Citizens in the District. Mr. Fred Harness who has been a Board member since 1966 and Vice-Chairman for the past three years was elected Chairman. He noted he was Your week ahead sv or. aw. pms Forecast Period: October 21 to October 28, 1973 ARIES Mar. 21 - Apr. 19 TAURUS Apr. 20 - May 20 GEMINI May 21 - June 20 MOONCHILD June 21 - July 22 LEO July 23 - Aug. 22 VIRGO Aug. 23 - Sept. 22 LIBRA Sept. 23 - Oct. 22 SCORPIO Oct. 23 - Nov. 21 SAGITTARIUS Nov. 22 - Dec. 21 CAPRICORN Dec. 22 - Jan. 19 AQUARIUS Jan. 20 - Feb. 18 PISCES Feb. 19 - Mar. 20 This week, yours could be a bad case of giving your opinion, whether or not your associates ask for it. Also, you might unknowingly betray the confidence of a loyal friend! A series of events, by imperceptible degrees, will change plans you have long held in abey- ance. Any change of goals will prove to be favorable, this week. A clandestine type of meeting seem to domi- nate this week's cosmic cycle. Actually, unless you do something about it, you're heading toward a few shady and devious hours. Draw the line, Moonchild! In one way or another, "someone will attempt to talk you out of a valuable possession or personal article. Take care! It seems that many members of your sign have a grievance to air. The point? Don't provoke a superior or person in authority. What is believed to be a major reversal, should creep into the lives of many Virgos. Keep your cool! Favorable influence will smother any ad- versities. Apparently, you are spending too much time thinking about a member of the opposite sex. So, keep your mind "locked" on tasks at hand. A kindly act toward a member of the opposite sex will pay off. One important piece of advice: Keep the relationship on a friendly basis. According to your chart, this week finds you in the mood to enforce "an eye for an eye." It's not nice to say -- but, revenge will be sweet! Behind the scene manipulations seem to be your thing, during this week's cosmic cycle. So, don't tip your hand on a long range plan you have in mind. Listen closely, to a member of the opposite sex. It seems as though you'll hear good advice that you won't like, necessarily. Stellar aspects advise: Boredom with routine chores is a probability. Consequently, errors are likely. One other thing, avoid taking short- cuts. ; PERSONALITY PROFILE For your Sun Sign Analysis, send the day, month, year and place of birth, plus $1.00 for postage to Dr. Andrew W. Damis, P. O. Mr. Symington agreed +o remain an officer and is now the Vice~Chair- man. This will help with the day to day bus- iness. 1 : Barnett-McQueen Management Contractors at the Birchwood Terrace site reported on the work in progress. The distribution pipe for heating was 70 per cent completed with insul- lation and backfilling expected to take ten days. It is hoped by the end of October paving and clean up will be completed. Work has begun on the elevator with the excavating completed. The elevator contract has been awarded to Otis Elevator and it is shceduled for delivery in December. The Board agreed with the Administrator that informative meetings be held with the municipalities in October and November bring- ing them up to date with Board policies in relation to Senior Citizens in the District. Tenders have been received for interior work in the building, however, final decisions as to the extent of the 'work have not been agreed on at this date.
