Stachiw and Mrs. R. McBride. Hostesses for the next meeting October 22nd will be Mrs. A. McKie and Mrs. D. Dakin. The Red Dog Inn of Terrace Bay is starting to take shape. Under construction by Tom Jones Construction, the new motel will have 20 units, a Dining Lounge and Cocktail Lounge. After old business was read two new members May Caldwell, and Ollie Chapman were initiated into the Auxiliary. Lois MacRae was thanked for her donation of a large cutting board for the kitchen. The Birthday Party will be on October I9th with invitations going out to Schreiber, Mara- thon and Manitouwadge. The ladies who worked in the kitchen for the Grand Opening were thanked for making the dinner such a success. A thank you note will be sent to Leon Theriault for his help. Due to rising costs a motion was passed to give the executive a bigger allowance. The Penny Auction will be cancelled until spring. Dave Gunter has volunteered to make a small table for the kitchen. There will be a shuffle board tournament on October I3th. Contact Lois MacRae if you wish to enter. The Thanksgiving Hamper will be drawn on the 5th of October. Anyone wishing to bowl contact Edna Beddard The Armistice Day Tea and Bazaar will be held on November 3rd and the tea will be con- vened by Dot Koski and Audrey Smith. Time 1:30 to 3:30.
