All interested bowlers are requested to sign there, or call Edna Beddard at 3200. Bowling will be held Friday Nights from 7 to 9 p.m. Teams to be select- ed out of a hat, accord- ing to the averages. GUIDES & BROWNIES MEETING The first meeting of the season for the Local Association to the Guides and Brownies was held in the Community Church base -ment at 8:30 p.m., Sept. 24th, '1973. Mrs. G. Moore opened the meeting with the Guide prayer. Mrs. R. McBride read the minutes of the last meeting. There were ten members present including one new member. It was reported that thirteen new Brownies were taken in and also two transfers. The Annual meeting will be held in the Comm- unity Church basement October 22nd, I973. New members are also welcome. In the past, members and prospective members were telephoned ahead of time and reminded of meet -ings. This practice wi- 11 be discontinued.
