MACFADYEN BURRIED IN TERRACE BAY Funeral Services for Mrs. Beatrice MacFad- yén, who passed away in a Thunder Bay hospital on August 30th were held in the Community Church on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev. P. McKague officiated, assisted by Rev A. Greengrass, with Mrs. Ellen Hodgkiss at the organ. Mrs. MacFadyen is survived by her husband, Daniel, one son Alan, Stevensville, Newfound- land and daughters Mavis (Mrs. J. Cavanaugh), Everett, Ont.; Betty (Mrs. Fred Gaul) of Ajax- and Linda, (Mrs. A. Benedict) of Tahsis, B.C. Active pall bearers were Henry Duriez, Jim Clancy, Wally Fisher, Wilf Corrigan, Bob Scott and Willard Vezina. Honourary pall bearers were Pat Jones, Ed Cavanaugh, Ab Farrow, Sam Boyd Sr., John Gross and Jack Moore. Interment was in the Terrace Bay Cemetery. TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT * A total of twenty-thre@e occurrences were investigated by the Terrace Bay Police Depart- ment during the past week. On September 5th, Police were called to Woodlands Garage where four vehicles had been entered and various equipment had been.stolen. Also on September 5th, a local resident had just arrived home. for lunch when his car was stolen. Shortly after, two Welland youths were arrested and later appeared before Judge Cunningham and sentenced to five days impris- onment. The car was recovered undamaged.
