PAGE IO TERRACE BAY NEWS SEPTEMBER I2, I973 FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR W. DUNHAM The funeral of the late William (Bill) Duriham, whose death occurred suddenly in Thun- der Bay Hospital on September 4th was conduct- ed in the McNally Funeral Chapel in Schreiber on September 7th by the Rev. Peter McKague of Terrace Bay, under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch I09. The Legion's memorial service in the funeral home was conducted by L.V. Bourke, and their graveside service by Rene Bedard, with the Last Post and Reveille sounded by bugler Fred Gould of Terrace Bay. The honour guards were Tommy Bolan, William Paradis, Harry Smith, Leonard Hiller and Barbara Ann McLaughlin. Pall bearers were " William McKenzie, Godfrey Birch, Brian Birch, William Madge, Jack Winters and Ivan Martin. Interment was in Schreiber cemetery. Mr. Dunham, a popular member of the local Legion, was born in Nova Scotia and served with the Canadian Armed Forces in the Second World War. He came to Schreiber in 1964 and worked for Zenmac Mines, later being employed with Birch Motors until the time of his death. SCHREIBER TOWN TOPICS Mr. and Mrs. M.J. McGrath and Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Power have gone to Killaloe to attend the funeral of the late Paddy McGrath, well- known in Schreiber. Mr. and Mrs. Chal McCuaig of Atikokan spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Lester McCuaig. Mr. and Mrs. Gino Caccamo and son Jason, and Mrs. George Cataford have returned from visiting Mr. and Mrs. Roger Cataford in Sarn- ia. While there they attended Louise Cata- ford's wedding. Mrs. Jack Scott and Frank McDonald have returned to Winnipeg after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Austin Cosgrove. Mrs. J.D. McCoshen of Thunder Bay is visit -ing Mr. and Mrs. Kevin O'Brien. Miss Gerry McBride was entertained at a shower tea arranged in the United Church hall, when she was assisted in receiving by Mrs. Ronald McBride, her mother; Miss Jane Duggan and Mrs. Aime Jean. The servitors were the Misses Joanne and Dawn McBride, Lorili and Dawn Desaulniers, Joan and Sandra Richardson and Leigh-Ann McBride. Mesdames J.S. Caccamo Ivan Martin, Wilf McLaughlin and Ron McBride Jr. The gift table was attended by Mary- Lynne O'Brien and Darlene Guillet. .
