Teachers will maintain their present I97 day school year. The non-teaching days will be used by teachers for reporting to parents, interviews, curriculum development, professional development, workshops, statistical reports and planning. In September, school officially opens on Tuesday, September 4th. The first day is a full school day. The following are non-teaching days at school: Oct, 8B - Thanksgiving Oct. 19 - Professional Development Day for High School Teachers only. Dec. IO - Afternoon only in elementary schools for parent-teacher interviews and distribution of First Progress Report.
