Adamo's MIP Award went to Mark Kenny and was presented by Mr. Bob Adamo. In the Pee-Wee House League, the winning team, the "Cougars", was presented with the North Shore Trophy, presented on behalf of North Shore Tran -sit by P. Pluta to coach, Don Thompson and the Captain, Dean Johnson. Terry Hanley was award- ed the Shell Canada MVP Award in the Pee-Wee league by Mr. Jim Mikus. Again in the Pee-Wee league the Island View MIP Award went to Scott Thompson, and was presented by Mrs. Janine Desrosiers. In the Bantam division the following awards were made: Calder Memorial Trophy, presented by Mr. Gordon Calder to Ed Angus, MVP, Bantam League; the Terrace Bay Minor Hockey Award for MIP Bantam League was presented to Michael Stortini by Mrs. M. Dashkewytch; the I0I% Tro- phy was presented to John Legault, Bantam Lea- gue, by L. Pope. In the Midget division the Cavanaugh Memor- ial Trophy MIP Award went to Jim Osmar and was presented by Mr. Ed Cavanaugh; the Terrace Bay Minor Hockey MVP Award was presented to Maurice Cadieux by F. McMillan; the Fisher Memorial Trophy for Best Goaltender was presented to Jim Pytyck by Mrs. W.A. Fisher. The Coach of. the Year Award, donated by the Terrace Bay Recrea- tion Committee, was presented to Mr. Len Pope, by Mrs. Ollie Chapman. Also awarded during the evening were indiv- idual trophies to members of the winning Atom and Pee-Wee House League teams. Two NHL watches, donated by Mr. Tony Costa were won by two players whose names were drawn during the evening. Also won by a player was a hockey bag, donated by the Sports Hut, Thun- der Bay. Following the Araw, W. Robitaille briefly described the procedure for electing the new Minor Hockey Executive for the fall. He also took the opportunity to thank those present the members of the Executive for their assis- tance and to express his appreciation to all for making him and his family feel so welcoge in Terrace Bay. The I972-73 Minor Hockey crests were dis- tributed to each registered hockey player at the conclusion of the banquet. In all a wonderful evening was enjoyed the gratitude of those present must go to who in any way contributed to the success the banquet. and all of Island View Service Award presented by Mrs. Desrosiers to MIP Scott Thompson J. Mikus presents Shell Canada MVP Award to Terry Hanley.
