TOWNSHIP OF SCHREIBER FIRE PREVENTION CODE By-Law 55I, recently passed by Council author- izes the adoption of a fire prevention code prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire and explosion. Under the By-Law, a permit is required for the following conditions: Section I4 Auto junk 30A Use storage, keeping of explosives 42 Storage of flammable liquids over 5 gallons ; 48 Operation of garages (Private garages used for commercial use) 76 Kindling and maintaining refuse or bon fires 82 Storage of readily combustible materials. Permits are issued by the Municipal Office after an inspection of the conditions by the Chief of the Fire Department. Residents are urged to comply with the safety aspects of the by-law, for the security and protection of all.
