Mrs. Isobel Delaronde was invivted to the Auxiliary to demonstrate her craft of Crochet- ing. The ladies had brought a crochet hook and some wool, and Mrs. Delaronde made a fun thing out of learning to crochet. She brought along a pillow cover, a poncho and hat, to show what can be done once one has mastered the art of chain, single and double crochet, which to many of the ladies may well have been written in Latin. Mrs. Van Eeden was also going to explain her craft of braid- ing rag rugs, but as the hour grew late, she will appear at a later meeting to demonstrate rug making. The evening closed with Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Van Eeden serving the lunch. NOT 14CE The Rossport Union Church Auxiliary are having their Annual Penny Auction of the year on May I3th., Mother's Day.
