They'd be lucky to outdraw the OHA Junior A Marlboros SEPARATE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING The regular meeting of the Schreiber -Terrace Bay District Roman Catholic Separate School Board was held on Saturday, March IOth at St. Martin's School, Terrace Bay. In attendance were: G. Ramsay, Y. Beauparlant, Mrs. M. Bouchard, L. Bour- ke, M. Nicol, Mrs. R. McBride, W. Malcolm, A. McGrath and Mrs. G. Mullins Sister Carol gave a resume of the work which she is doing as a resource teacher at Holy Angels School. Prin- cipals gave their annual reports. Mrs. Margaret Godin and J. Kennedy were appointed as attendance officers for 1973 for Holy Angels and St. Mar- tins School respectively. Resignations were read and accepted with regret from Mrs. Marjorie Stephen and Mrs. Bernadette Thompson. Mrs. Bouchard stated that the addi- tion at St. Martin's School was pro= gressing quite well. The next meeting will be held at Holy Angels, Schreiber on Thursday, April I2th at 7 p.m. TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT A total of I9 occurences were re- ported this past week with six motor vehicle cautions issued and three tran- sients checked. One charge was laid under the Dog By-Law as the result of a complaint. During the early hours of March 25th 53 Township signs were badly damaged. These included - Fire Hydrant signs, yield signs, stop signs, speed signs, and school signs. The total damage is estimated at $300.00. Investigations were made and on Tuesday, March 27th, two local men were interviewed and charged with committ- ing mischief to public property. ' RECREATION NEWS Terrace Bay Wins Ringette Tournament: This past weekend, March 3Ist, both the Terrace Bay juniors and seniors hosted teams from Manitouwadge in the : Terrace Bay invitational annual tourna- ment.
