Speed typing champions of Lake Superior High School 1972-1973. The senior Champion was Sharon Scott with Maxine Hubelit as runner-up. Community Church Hall in Terrace Bay with only fourteen members present. The meeting opened with the Auxil- iary Prayer followed by the reading of the minutes. Correspondence included a letter from Mr. Mazzone thanking the Auxil- iary for the humidifier. A thank you was extended to Margaret Spillane for the chair given to the hospital. A cheque was received from Sister Belfrey The membership committee reported a favourable membership of between 575 and 580. The Tuck Shop reported a good prof- it. Donations for young boys items was requested. The high school will be asked if they will make a new cart for the Tuck Shop items. Can you help with the Tuck Shop? Volunteers are needed from Schreiber to assist in run- ning the Tuck cart one hour a week every second week. If you can help call 824-2066 or 824-2854. It was decided that roll call will be answered at the April I6th meeting with old rags which in turn will be sold. Also, anyone wishing to donate rags can drop them off at the home of either Fern McDonald, 535 Lakeview, Marg Stephen, 417 Elizabeth or Nel Stewart, I38 Birch. The auxiliary is purchasing a much needed Surgery and Examination lamp for the Hospital. The next meeting is to be held in the Schreiber High School Library, April I6éth at 8:00 P.M. FIGURE SKATING TESTS PASSED The Terrace Bay Figure Skating Club had a very successful year with Cana- dian Figure Skating Association tests being held three times. Skaters trav- elled to Centralized tests at the Port Arthur Figure Skating Club in Thunder Bay on March 25th. Tests passed this year included: Preliminaries - Cathy Adey, Judy Moher, Kathryn Lang, Brenda Cornfield, Kathy Osmar, Janice Pytyck.
