In case you've been wondering how the NHL schedule was set up this season in order for teams to play each other an equal amount of times. It's simple ... the teams don't play each other the same number of games. Each club plays three others six times and ths remaining 12 only five times. Detroit for instance, plays the three Canadian teams six times each and the others five times. PINEWOOD COURT COUNCIL MEETS The Resident's Council of Pinewood Court func- tions satisfactorily with a President, Vice President, Secretary Treasurer and seven members. They are all residents of the Home and represent the total Home population. In Thunder Bay, once a month, the Council meets and discusses any problems that might have arisen, make suggestions and are generally clued in on happenings in and out of the Court. At the meeting which took place recently, Mr. Vibert discussed the new satellite Home at Terrace Bay which will probably be called Birchwood Terrace and the Council members were asked to lend their support by making suggestions and assisting in other ways if called upon and generally being in- terested in the new Home. The Council have always been very active, hav- ing put on annual teas, wine and cheese party for Senior Citizens week, a walk-a-thon, regular monthly bingos, as well as assisting in may other areas. The Administration and Staff of Pinewood Court are very appreciative of the Council's par- ticipation in the running of the Home and feel that they are a definite asset as well as giving in- centive to the other residents.
