Lundberg. y the Ladies Auxiliary t Branch 223, repre- convener, Dick behalf of the re Mrs. Danielle Photo by LADIES AUXILIARY ELECTS NEW OFFICERS Worship service took place in the Sanctuary of the Community Church preceeding the regular monthly meeting of the 1adies Auxiliary. The stained glass window "Faster Morn" was the theme of the service, led by Mrs. M. McKague. Retiring to the Church hall for the business portion of the meeting, President, Mrs. G. oO Soughton opened with a short prayer, and wel- comed all those present. Mrs. V. Kennedy, acting secretary, read the minutes of the last meeting and correspondence. The treasurer's report was given and a motion passed to pay all accounts. Correspondence included a thank you note from K. MacLeod, sunday School Superintendant, for the recent donation of $500.00 from the Ladies Auxiliary, and also for the luncheon put on by the ladies for the Sunday School students just previous to Christmas. . A letter was read from Don Laporte of the 173 Winter Carnival Committee requesting help, either financially or by involvement, to insure the success of the Carnival. The Mental Health Association of Ontario made an appeal for a donation to carry on their important work. A motion was made to send a donation of $25.00 Mrs. lois Hopper, a past president of the ladies Auxiliary, sent a note of thanks for the continued page 3 ceeeeveccns
