THE AUXILIARY TO THE McCAUSLAND HOSPITAL Victor Mazzone, Hospital Administrator, highlight- ed the November 20 meeting of the Auxiliary. He began with words of congratulations on the good work the Auxiliary is doing. The Tuck Shop and Volunteer Services are being enjoyed by both Patients and Staff. Mr. Mazzone gave a run down on the immediate needs of the hospital and informed us that all equipment used in the hospital can only be acquired through donations If we are going to have a good hospital, we must all get together and work for it. It was reported that Volunteer Services are being well received. Our girls go to the hospital twice a week doing hairdressing, for long staying patients, get library books, make up tray favours and just visit. Thank you Donna and Glori. The Tuck Shop is still doing well but without your help we will not have the crafts to sell, nor the peo- ple to sell them. If you would like to work at the Tuck Shop, please give Aina Anderson or Joyce Anderson of Terrace Bay, or Flora Bryson of Schreiber a call. More volunteers are needed. If you have any crafts, please call Freda Boucher, T. B. or Bonn- ie Dye, Schreiber. For knitted goods, please call Anna McKie, Terrace Bay or Elthea Morris, Schreiber, Where possible we will supply materials required to make items, but the less we spend, the more we will be able to give to the hospital. Special thanks to those ladies in Rossport, Terrace Bay and Schreiber for their generous donations. The public is invited to visit our Tuck Shop and see what it has. Crafts, knitting, as well as numer- ous other items are on display. Get your Christmas presents early. The next meeting will be held in the Schreiber High School. Anyone needing a ride from Terrace Bay can call Ruth Mitchell. BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING The Lake Superior Board of Education meeting No. 13/72 was held at Manitouwadge on Saturday, Nov. 18.
