With that coloring you would expect a few freckles and he has them. He is careful about clothes and grooming. Tommy is a most likeable boy, normally cheerful and good- natured. He is popular in his age group and gets on well with younger children. He especially enjoys adult company because he is a good conversationalist. Logical in his thinking, he likes to have reasons for expected behavior explained to him. Tommy is enthusiastic about camping. A special interest is art and he has above average ability in it and handicrafts. He likes to play the recorder. In most areas, Tommy does average work in school but he has a poor memory and his reading is below par, so he is repeating Grade VII this year. However, his reading is showing improvement. Tommy needs parents who will appreciate his special gifts and qualities and will not pressure him for academic achievement. It will be ideal if he can be the only child in his adoption home but that is not vital. The important thing is that he have warmth, security and permanence, with or without brothers and sisters. To inquire about adopting Tommy, please write to Today's Child, Box 888, Station K, Toronto. For general adoption in- formation, please contact your Children's Aid Society. A KEEN CAMPER
