Mr. and Mrs. Bill Pellow of Fergus, Ont. visited Mr. and Mrs. Dick Needham this week. Mr. Pellow formerly of Chapleau enjoyed meeting with retired engineers he had known in White River-the common meeting ground for both Chapleau and Schreiber enginemen. John Needham of Hay River, Northwest Terri- tories, is now home visiting his parents. Reeve F.V. Harness was called to Ottawa by the sudden death of his stepbrother, Vic Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Drake and baby, Billy Joe, of Cache Creek, Alberta, are visiting their parents = Mr. and Mrs. Gary Drake in Schreiber and Mr. and | Mrs. Joe Desaulniers in Terrace Bay. An invitation was received from the Children's Aid Society requesting representatives to be sent to their meeting being held in the high school on Octo- ber 25th. Mrs. Gabrielle Martin agreed to decorate the hall for the Hallowe'en party. Letters for menus were sent to the three church groups fo cater for the November 11th banquet.
