Marie attended services at the Community Church and then had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. McKague. The White's were members of Rev. McKague's former parish in the Soo. ANTI-LITTER CAMPAIGN STARTED IN TERRACE BAY A group of children, ranging in ages from 7 to 16 under the chairmanship of Marie Rochon, age 9, going on 10, have started an anti-litter campaign Marathon, Ontario to help clean up Terrace Bay and keep it clean. They will post signs here and there, and are asks ing the residents and visitors of Terrace Bay to do their bit. Some of their suggestions are to use the trash cans on the Plaza, instead of throwing chocolate bar, gum and candy wrappers, as well as cigarette pack- ages, on the streets. Don't dump your car ash tray in the street where you park, use your own garbage can at home, or one of the convenient litter contain- ers on the Plaza. Don't throw pop bottles just any- where, because inevitably they are broken, and the jagged edges could cause some child a serious injury. They also urge fishermen and hunters to keep our streams, rivers and hunting grounds clean and unpolluted. Let's get behind these children who are the citizens of tomorrow. Keep our town clean and un-littered, for a better tomorrow . An attempt to enter the Dentist Office was un- successful. Three domestic disputes were attended.
